Plant Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic – Workshop Based

We are seeking a skilled Plant Mechanic / Mobile Plant Mechanic to join a growing team in Sydney’s south. This is a workshop-based role with modern facilities and excellent resources to support the job.

What’s on Offer

• Competitive pay rate of $50 – $55 per hour + super

• Stable Monday to Friday hours (8:00am – 4:30pm)

• Occasional overtime available (weekdays; Saturdays rarely required)

• Primarily workshop work, with only minimal field work as needed

• Ongoing training opportunities (in-house and OEM provided)

• PPE and uniforms supplied

The Role

• Carry out pre-deliveries, servicing, repairs, and inspections on mobile equipment

• Undertake major inspections and mechanical work to high industry standards

• Work safely within a well-equipped workshop (including overhead crane, access equipment, and forklifts)

About You

• Trade qualified in either:

  • Certificate III Engineering – Fixed & Mobile Plant Mechanic (MEM31419), or

  • Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology (AUR31220)

• Mechanically minded with experience in heavy plant/equipment

• Safety-focused and reliable, with strong attention to detail

• Must hold a current driver’s licence and full Australian work rights
